The Role of Technology in Modern Barbering
Exploring how digital tools and AI are transforming traditional barbering practices
I'm a multimedia developer with a foundation in design, education, and technical problem-solving. I build clean, intentional user experiences — from front-end layouts to digital learning environments — guided by clarity, structure, and meaningful storytelling. I believe simple, well-organized interfaces help people learn faster and work smarter.
My path began with a focus on Philosophy at UALR, where I developed an interest in critical thinking, culture, and global perspectives. Combined with traveling throughout the Asia-Pacific while serving in the United States Marine Corps, that experience pushed me toward international study, and I was later accepted into the American University of Paris. With two young daughters at the time, I chose a different direction — one that allowed me to stay present, grounded, and build a stable future.
I shifted into the barber industry, earned my license from New Tyler Barber College, and went on to teach and train students across different cultures. That experience strengthened my ability to simplify complex concepts and teach with clarity. I later completed a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Development & Design and I'm now pursuing an MBA in Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics to expand my strategic and technical capabilities.
Today, I combine technical development with educational design to create digital tools, visual content, and scalable online learning systems — including Barberpedia, a modern platform for barber education. My work reflects growth, precision, and service. My goal is to build useful resources that help people learn, create, and succeed.
